Testimonials

“I was a complete non-believer in any type of training for our very energetic and disobedient Yorkie. I was concerned that he missed the “window” for electronic dog fence training since we waited until he was about nine months and he was already beyond our control. Upon our first meeting, Steve assured me with 100% guarantee that he would be able to successfully train Rocky. I was completely skeptical but decided to go ahead and give it a try. Steve came many times and I really didn’t think it was going to work…By the time Rocky’s dog fence training sessions were finished he was completely trained and has not escaped one time!”

I’m Steven Schwartz Canine Behavioral Trainer and the Founder of K-9 Contain & Train Electronic Dog Fence.

Since the early 1990‘s I have helped over 10,000  dog owners construct better relationships with their dogs through behavioral training. I would stress the relationship between appropriate behavior and exercise. I am an evangelist when it comes to dogs and proper exercise. Proper exercise yields a calmer dog. A calmer dog is easier to handle, and easier to train. Along with exercise comes the discussion about a safe area in which to allow our dogs to play & exercise. While some folks had physical fences many had decided on installing an invisible type fence as a containment option. When I would talk to clients about their Invisible Fence™ the would express to me problems their dogs were having either being properly trained, or becoming acclimated with their Electric Dog Fence.

Dog and pet owners receiving incomplete and improper training was the feedback I would often hear from dog owners. I knew there needed to be a better way to successfully train dogs to the Electronic Dog Fence; A way that took into account each dogs unique temperament. Since no two dog are the same or respond exactly the same to the same situation I developed a system of properly training dog to the Electronic Dog Fence that is gradual, fair and successful.

This system of training I developed is referred to as; “The Nine-Pillars Of Training”. Its gradual training method and allows dogs to learn the containment boundaries with real life distractions while at the same time learning to use the entire containment area in the yard. Not just stay close to the house.
